Mrs. Pugh was born and raised in Grove Hill and has lived here all her life. She is a 1999 graduate of Clarke County High School and a 2009 graduate of Faulkner University where she earned her Bachelors in Business Administration. She is employed as a payroll secretary/bookkeeper with Thomasville City Schools.

She married her high school sweetheart, Casey. In her spare time, she enjoys shopping, watching movies and spending time with family and friends. Mrs. Pugh attends Pine Chapel No. 1 Baptist Church Where she serves as church clerk and sings in the choir. She serves as a director on the Grove Hill Utilities Board and has served on the town council representing District 2 since 2015.
